Today, Together is a free shared to-do list for two. One of you keeps today's list. The other sees it change as things get ticked off, and can send a note or a little reaction when it would help. It's built for couples who want to get through the day as a team, especially when one of you has ADHD, without anyone becoming the nag.
How it works
- Make a space for the two of you. Choose "partners" and the app's words are written for a couple.
- One of you is the doer. You write today's list and tick things off. Anything unfinished carries over to tomorrow, marked "from yesterday", with no judgement attached.
- The other is the cheerleader. They see your list as it changes and send encouragement when it's needed, instead of asking "did you do it yet?"
Want a list each? Make two spaces, one where each of you is the doer, and switch between them.
Why couples use a shared list
Support without nagging
When one partner has ADHD, it's easy to drift into a pattern where the other becomes the organiser and the reminder service. Neither of you signed up for that. A shared list moves the reminding onto the list itself, so the cheerleader's job is the nice part: noticing, encouraging, celebrating. There's more on this in our guide to supporting a partner with ADHD.
The invisible jobs get seen
Booking the boiler service, ringing the GP, chasing the refund. A lot of what keeps a household going happens quietly and goes unnoticed. On a shared list, the other person sees it get done, and can say thank you.
Close, even at a distance
For long-distance couples or busy weeks apart, seeing each other's day tick along, with a note in between, is a small way of being in it together.
What's in it
- Today's list. Add, tick off, snooze, drag into order, and group into sections when a day gets busy.
- Routines. Things that repeat every day, on weekdays, or on the days you pick, like taking medication or putting the bins out. Miss one and it simply comes back next time.
- Notes and reactions. Encouragement, warmth and the occasional cheeky nudge, right on the list.
- A garden that grows. Every finished day adds a bloom. Missed days never make it wilt.
- Little celebrations. Hearts on every tick, the odd surprise, and confetti when the list is done.
- Gentle mode and pauses. Hide the streaks and stats, set rest days, or pause for a holiday without losing your streak.
Support, not surveillance
Your partner sees your list and the notes between you. They don't see when you open the app or how often. There are no ads, we never sell your data, either of you can leave a space at any time, and deleting your account deletes everything you made. You can read the full privacy policy.
Questions couples ask
Is it free?
Yes. Today, Together is free to use, with no ads.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Today, Together runs in your web browser, so it works on any phone or computer, and you can each use a different one. You sign in with a magic link sent to your email, or a password if you set one.
Can we both have a list?
Yes. Each space has one doer and one cheerleader, so make two spaces and take a turn at each role. You can be in up to three spaces at once.
Is it a chore chart?
Not really. There are no points, rotas or scores to argue about. It's one short list for today, and someone on your side.
Will my partner know every time I open the app?
No. They see your list and your notes, nothing about when or how often you look.
Can we use it with friends or family too?
Yes. When you make a space you choose partners, friends or family, and the app's wording changes to suit. Many people have one space with a partner and another with a friend.
What if one of us wants to stop?
Either of you can leave a space at any time, and you can delete your account from the settings. Deleting it removes everything you made.
